Amazing ambience. Super close to night life. Best hotel in Miami lakes. Great pool. Rooms are very quaint and clean. They have tubs for bubble bath.
Room was exactly as advertised, comfy beds & extremely clean. The reason for the 3 stars is the floor plan makes it so you have to walk all the way to front desk to then walk all the way back to your rooms (if your in the far side). Furthermore, the fire doors only open one way in the hallways making you have to walk back to the elevator at the front of the building to then walk all the way back. This is a real inconvenience doing this with all your luggage.
Guests get access to the associated gym across the street. Much nicer than any hotel gym. Rooms have been renovated some but the hotel is still very date. All in all a comfortable stay.
The location is nice with a lot of shops around. The rooms are nice but the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The staff is polite as you would expect at a decent hotel. Two things that annoy me are that housekeeping keeps opening my curtains up each day and I have to remember to close them when I get back each night, and they turn the A.C. down to 67 so it's freezing!
I live nearby so I don't stay as a guest, but often visit the bar and grill. The service here is phenomenal, as the servers are quick and accurate. I have never once had an issue. The burgers are delicious, and the beer selection is on point.
